Using quality materials and a modern process; almost anything (*/**) that can be painted and submersed in water can be hydro dipped. Examples of popular items to dip are:

  • Car Interior and Engine components
  • Gunstocks, Barrels & Sights
  • Motorbike Tanks & Fairings
  • Alloy Wheels
  • Games Consoles & Controllers
  • Furniture
  • Musical Instruments
  • Household Appliances
  • Sports Equipment
  • Furniture
  • Cupboard & kitchen unit doors

Items should be brought to us already dismantled from your bike/car/boat and wheels with the tires removed (We can arrange this for you but there is an additional cost)

The only limit is your imagination!

* Guns must be dismantled and only the part that requires dipping can be handled on Hydrov8's premises

** We don't dip motorcycle helmets for Health & Safety reasons

Custom Paint

We carry out all types of custom painting.

We're proficient in various techniques that allow us to repair your items to their original splendour, or choose a new colour!

We make a point of using only high-quality products, offering competent and comprehensive advice and always keeping your design ideas in mind.

Step 1: Preparation

First, we strip the alloy using a sand blaster then fill and prime the alloy so that the rim and spokes are perfect. We use quality metal filler and 2k Primer. This is then flatted so that there is no "orange peel" effect when the basecoat is applied.

Step 2: Base Colour

The paint colour of your choice is applied.

Step 3: Top Coat (Lacquer)

Once sprayed the item is coated with a 2K quality scratch proof lacquer (gloss or matte finish). This is then sanded and polished to a mirror shine to remove any imperfections. Items do not leave the workshop until they have the best possible result.

Furniture Upcycling

We can refurbish your furniture too!

Do you have tired looking Kitchen cupboard doors/units/drawers, Garden furniture or your favourite household item? Come and talk to us to see what we can offer.

We can even just paint them in a colour of your choice if Hydro dipping isn't your thing.
